Khokhloma

Aaah, je l'aime ce motif ! C'est officiel, je suis plongée en pleine Russie légendaire, là où poussent de bien mystérieuses forêts peuplées de créatures inquiétantes. Oui, je les aime bien, ces forêts-là... Du coup, je reprends un motif qui commence à devenir familier, proche de celui utilisé pour mon monstre galopant qui me sert maintenant de bannière de blog. Il s'agit d'un motif issu de la peinture Khokhloma, un art traditionnel russe aux couleurs vives qu'on retrouve sur tout un tas d'objets. C'est beau...

I looove this pattern ! I finally started a project set deeply in the russian legendary world, where forests grow wild and dark and where mysterious creatures hide between gnarled trees. Yes, I have a soft spot for these kind of forests...
